i think the most annoying thing about anatomy study

is that left is right and right is left

and i know this is simple because you should just automatically think the opposite

but when you’re deep in the layers of the veins, and you’re like visualising layers of muscle and fascia being removed, and you think okay so the left azygos system

and everything makes sense

and so you write left

because it was on the left

but really that’s on the right

and then you fuck everything up
